Ultra Light Fishing

Ultra light lure fishing has evolved hugely in the UK over the past few years, adopting many techniques and equipment from Japan.

All over the nation anglers of all disciplines have taken to using very lightweight rods, light braids and small soft plastic lures to catch perch, pike, chub and trout. Often referred to as LRF (Light Rock Fishing) in saltwater circles this style lends itself to targeting almost all of the saltwater species in our coastal waters.

This format of angling is fantastically accessible, with most of the UK within easy reach of a canal, lake, river or shoreline in which anyone can catch and enjoy the sport of angling.
